Modern Bright Bathroom & Kitchen Reno

The goal of this project was to give the dated spaces of the home a complete refresh. We changed the layout of the Primary bathroom slightly to streamline the shape of the shower by modifying an adjacent storage area. We omitted a lot of heavy elements and brown tones and introduced a lighter, softer texture on the floor and main wall tile, while adding a custom natural oak vanity with contrasting mirror and lighting in black and gold tones. One of the highlights of the space is the dimensional metallic tile on the back wall of the shower that acts as a major statement in the overall space. The customized open shelving near the new freestanding oval tub matches the vanity and helped create a warm accent in an otherwise underutilized space. The Kitchen cabinets were painted to soften the existing dark stained wood that was very heavy in the space in combination with dated granite countertops. The new light taupe color cabinets and lighter quartz countertops and sculptural pendant lights help to make the area feel more spacious and on point in terms of style.
