Madeira Transitional Home Addition

Along with a Great Room, Bar and Outdoor Deck addition to this transitional home, we updated the current Living Room, Office and common area finishes & fixtures. This young family needed more space in their home and wanted the Interior to reflect their style. We added a new electric fireplace in the Great room with painted shiplap to keep the room light an airy, while utilizing warm colors and natural textures along with plants to ensure the space felt welcoming. We added natural oak floating wood shelves in the Living Room and simple white built in’s underneath as well as downscaled furniture to keep the small footprint of the interior room feeling light & airy. In contrast, we clad the fireplace with a dark metallic tile to ground the fireplace element and contrasted with a natural wood chunky mantle. Overall, we pulled the look & feel of the home together with a warm palette that was seamlessly carried throughout the home.
