Madeira Modern Refresh

These ‘empty-nesters’ wanted to completely transform & update the look of their home to ensure it could be their forever home. We worked with their well-established contractor and architect to come up with plans to open up the entire first floor and update key items like the main staircase’s modern iron railing and slatted wall feature to make the transition to the lower level appear lighter and more open. Larger full glass doors were added from the sitting area to the deck with a double sided fireplace for the owner to enjoy. The Kitchen layout was developed with 2 islands that created a hub for entertaining family & friends and to support the owner’s love of baking. This included a re-imagined, larger pantry with a modern barn door entry and new cabinets, countertops, backsplash & lighting throughout. The Master Bathroom was completely re-worked to utilize the space differently for the owner’s current & future needs. New finishes including tile, cabinetry, countertops & lighting were provided for the Master Bath as well as Guest Bath & Powder Room. The guest and master bathroom also received new finishes to flow with the rest of the space. We selected new furniture for the majority of the spaces throughout as well to give the space a new modern vibe.
