Madeira Mid-Century Renovation

The family living in this Mid-Century home loved their space and neighborhood, but wanted to expand their kitchen and update it’s aesthetics while enhancing the unique characteristics of the home. We expanded on the Mid-Century vibe already started in the home and enhanced it with the new design. We developed a new kitchen, dining & living room layout for the space by opening up the existing kitchen to the dining space, allowing for a large island vs. the existing u-shape kitchen. New powder room fixtures and wallcovering were incorporated to tie into the rest of the 1st floor spaces. All of the wood flooring in the home was refinished to create a unified, better flowing space throughout. New modern cabinetry & hardware as well as fun lighting selections and new furniture in key areas finished off the space for an updated, fresh look.
