Modern Rustic Redesign

This major home renovation included a two-story addition onto the back of the existing house; extending the living and kitchen space; adding an additional bathroom and bedroom space on the second floor; and gutting, reconfiguring and remodeling the master bath. We also incorporated a new kitchen with inset cabinets and new appliances, and relocated the powder room and laundry/mud room — both with new finishes & fixtures. The home received new flooring throughout, new lighting, and a custom-made, iron stair rail to fit the homeowners’ aesthetics. The living space was extended into the exterior with a new rear deck and stairs to a new patio. To get the maximum benefits of their walkable, downtown suburban location, a privacy fence was added for the owners’ backyard enjoyment. The exterior of the home also received a makeover, with new fiber cement siding in both horizontal and vertical design patterns, and new black windows throughout the home to complete the overall modern-rustic vibe.
